Hair Camp
Technique Focus | Haircutting and Artistic Theory
This course teaches the difference between learning “how to cut hair” and learning a “haircut”. You can learn the difference between learning a haircut and mastering the techniques that make it work, so you can create with confidence and adaptability.
This class is open to licensed professionals, COLLECTIV Academy senior students, and alumni who want to strengthen their foundation or revisit key concepts. Local stylists may also request access and, when available, take part at a discounted rate to experience our structured, technique-driven approach to education.
Hair Camp is traditionally three days of immersive learning and hands-on training.
Color Camp
Technique Focus | Hair Color and Artistic Theory
Take your color skills to the next level with this two-day advanced training focused on both theory and technique. Color Camp helps you refine your approach, explore new methods, and build confidence behind the chair in a creative, hands-on environment. Curriculum includes:

NXT LVL Color Camp
Technique Focus | Color, Corrections and Texture
Take your color knowledge further with this advanced training designed for stylists ready to elevate both their technical and consultation skills. NXT LVL Color Camp blends creative technique with deep theory to help you confidently approach every color service, from everyday applications to complex corrections. The course covers:
- Advanced classics including foil placement, balayage, root smudge, and hand-painted highlights
- Core and advanced color theory that applies to any product line
- How to control formulations based on pigment and texture
- Identifying and approaching color correction scenarios

Visual Focus
Technique Focus | Haircutting And Artistic Theory
Cutting hair as a modern stylist is a combination of technical and visual haircutting. This course gives an understanding of how to progress your cutting skills by incorporating disconnections and visual techniques to create endless shapes. Learn how to texturize with purpose and personalize on multiple levels.
Suited for individuals that have taken a fundamental cutting course.
Hair Extensions
Technique Focus | Hairstyling
This two-day training is designed to introduce you to the most in-demand extension methods using a hands-on, technique-focused approach. Led by a certified InHAIRitence Hair Extensions Educator, this course covers everything from consultation to pricing so you can confidently offer customized solutions for your clients.

You can learn proper application and placement, how to conduct a successful consultation, and how to price your services effectively. Through a combination of theory, live demonstration, and hands-on practice, you’ll also build skills in color matching, choosing the right method for each client, and adding length, volume, or both.
Lash Extensions
Technique Focus | Lashes
We’ve partnered with Borboleta to offer a two-day certification course in eyelash extensions. This hands-on training is designed specifically for licensed cosmetologists and estheticians who want to expand their service offerings with one of the fastest-growing specialties in beauty.
Taught by certified Borboleta educators, this training includes live demonstrations and hands-on practice, giving you the confidence and skills to start offering professional lash extension services right away. Upon completion, you’ll receive a certificate from Borboleta and be equipped with the techniques, tools, and product knowledge to deliver high-quality results your clients will love.
